Bibi Lawrence Presented a Sculptural Couture Edit from “Oge Ntoju” at London Fashion Week
Lagos-founded luxury house Bibi Lawrence presented a sculptural couture edit from its celebrated Oge Ntoju collection during a London Fashion Week presentation at St John’s Church, Hyde Park on 19 February 2026.
The appearance marked the label’s continued expansion into the UK fashion landscape, introducing London audiences to Bibi Lawrence’s signature language of sculptural femininity, artisanal surface development and modern African luxury.
Titled “Oge Ntoju”—an Igbo phrase translating to a time of abundance and fullness—the collection explored themes of prosperity, growth and divine flourishing through floral symbolism. Within the house’s visual vocabulary, flowers became architectural forms, representing expansion, beauty and becoming.
For London Fashion Week, Bibi Lawrence presented two couture looks as a focused edit.
Look I: The Orchid Dress was a sculptural silk gown featuring a hand-painted orchid structure floating along the hem. A corseted bodice was finished with meticulously hand-stitched raffia braiding at the bust, paired with raffia-covered spherical embellishments at the sleeves—balancing organic texture with architectural precision.
Look II: The Rose Dress offered a structured corseted silhouette built from layered rose-petal formations that encapsulated the bust and framed the hips, creating a dimensional bloom effect. The gown was completed with a fluid fringe hem engineered to move rhythmically with the wearer, placing softness and motion inside a strong sculptural frame.
Together, the two looks expressed Bibi Lawrence’s core philosophy: strength and softness coexisting in harmony.
