Write to the magazine
Use this page for story ideas, collection news, event invitations, interview proposals, corrections and advertising enquiries. A short introduction with the relevant details is the best place to begin. Tell us who you are, who you represent and how to reach you, then explain the reason for your message.
Story ideas and collection news
Introduce the designer, brand, person or project and explain what is new. Include the collection or project name, season or launch date, location and a link to further information. If you are suggesting a feature, give the central idea in a few sentences and show how it connects with the magazine’s fashion, beauty, people or cultural coverage.
Invitations and interviews
For a show, presentation, exhibition, screening or launch, include the date, time, venue and city. Add any registration link, accreditation deadline or embargo, together with the organiser’s contact details. For an interview, name the proposed speaker, their role, the subject of the conversation and available dates. Please make any deadline clear in the subject line.
Corrections, credits and reader questions
If you believe a story contains an error, send its title or web address and identify the passage in question. Explain the correction you are asking us to consider and include a reliable supporting source where possible. For a photograph or credit query, identify the image and the relevant name or rights information. This helps us locate the material and understand the request.
Advertising and other enquiries
For advertising or a proposed commercial project, introduce your organisation and outline the campaign, intended audience, format and timing. Mark the subject as an advertising enquiry so the purpose is clear. For any other question, use a descriptive subject and include only the background needed to explain it. Links to a press pack or portfolio are useful when the enquiry concerns a body of work.
Prepare an advertising enquiry
Images, press material and supporting links
When your enquiry includes photographs, identify the photographer and any other required credits. State who can authorise publication and whether restrictions apply to the images. A clearly labelled link to a press pack is easier to assess than a message without context: include a collection description, designer biography, image captions and the relevant show or launch details. If a download link expires, say when.
Dates, access and follow-up information
Please distinguish an announcement from an invitation and a public event from a private appointment. For access requests, provide the booking or accreditation route rather than assuming that an invitation includes every part of a programme. If you are updating a previous message, quote its subject and make the changed information clear. A revised venue, time, collection name or interview date is most useful when it can be understood without reopening several earlier documents.
Sending an idea, invitation or press release does not confirm coverage, attendance or an interview. If your proposal depends on a particular deadline or agreed format, make that clear and wait for an explicit arrangement before treating it as confirmed. Please send the information needed to assess the subject; personal documents and unrelated sensitive details do not belong in a press enquiry.
