Slovakia on a Global Fashion Tour: Global Fashion Net Moves to London After Sarajevo Success

The international project Global Fashion Net successfully concluded its sixth edition in Sarajevo in collaboration with European Fashion Passport, with Slovakia taking a leading role.
Led by Adnan Hajraluhović Haad and Lenka Suchová (Global Business Net), the initiative connects fashion, business, and diplomacy, creating a unique bridge between cultures and industries.

Over the past twelve years, Global Business Net has partnered with Harbin Fashion Week in China, developing a strong business and creative exchange between China and Slovakia. Following its success in Asia, the same collaborative model has been introduced in the Balkans, where new partnerships are already bringing tangible results.

Building on this experience, Global Fashion Net now expands to London, where the project Global Fashion Net x London Fashion Day will be held on October 10, 2025, at the Slovak Embassy in Kensington. Organised in cooperation with Konstantin Leonitiev, founder of London Fashion Day, the event marks the beginning of a new chapter in international fashion diplomacy.

Slovakia at the Heart of Sarajevo

The European Fashion Passport 2025 was held under the patronage of the President of Bosnia and Herzegovina and his wife, who personally supported Slovakia’s fashion and business mission.
Four Slovak designers represented the country:
Olga Pribek, VELGUD, Zuzana Haková, and TurboCat (Ľubomír Nagy) — each presenting original collections blending craftsmanship, innovation, and modern Slovak identity.

During the Sarajevo program, Slovak designers collaborated with refugees from a local camp to create No Nation Fashion, a humanitarian collection symbolising peace and solidarity. The dresses will premiere in London and then travel to other countries as a message of unity.

London: The Next Chapter

At the London edition, Slovakia will again take centre stage with collections by Veronika Feketíková, Olga Pribek, and Zuzana Haková. The event will open with a presentation by Ľubomír Nagy (TurboCat) — the collaborative design created in Sarajevo, representing peace and cultural connection.

Supported by economic diplomat Nina Spišiak, the initiative also bridges fashion and sports, with Patricia Maskarová (MXGP and Snowcross) joining as an ambassador of international collaboration through sport.

After London, the project will travel to Harbin Fashion Week (China) and conclude with Global Fashion Net 2026 in Košice, reinforcing Slovakia’s role as a creative and business hub between Europe and Asia.

“Global Fashion Net is not just about fashion or business — it is a bridge between cultures and countries,”
says Lenka Suchová, founder of Global Business Net and ambassador of European Fashion Passport.

Through fashion, entrepreneurship, and diplomacy, Global Fashion Net continues to build one global network connecting Košice, Sarajevo, London, China, Dubai, and Chile.
