Odessa Fashion Day’s FASHION TALK brought Odesa’s fashion community together ahead of Season 32
Ahead of the 32nd season of Odessa Fashion Day, FASHION TALK | Networking Event took place in Odesa on 29 March at MarAmax Institute, bringing together designers, industry professionals, creative youth, and guests interested in the development of Ukraine’s fashion environment.
Conceived as an камерный industry gathering, the event was designed to create an open space for conversation, knowledge exchange, and new professional connections. Rather than functioning as a formal presentation alone, FASHION TALK focused on live dialogue between participants and on strengthening the local fashion community ahead of the new season.
As part of the programme, Hanna Liashenko delivered a talk on the influence of personal style on self-expression and professional development. The event also featured a presentation of a capsule collection by Ukrainian brand SEMENENKO, shown with the participation of models from Totalité Agency. The presentation became one of the key visual moments of the evening, highlighting current approaches in contemporary Ukrainian design.
The networking atmosphere was supported by a DJ set from Maryna Shtelmashuk and a welcome drink by event partner ODESA Wine, creating a relaxed environment for informal communication and exchange. The visual coverage of the event was provided by photographer Valeriia Medvedieva and videographer Yelena Konstantinova.
The concept was realised by Oleh Shkilniuk and Yelyzaveta Shats. The event was also supported by media partners including COOL’BABA magazine, Prominent Magazine, FASHION TV, Studio of My Dreams News, but.in.ua, and Odesa Media.
More than a pre-season event, FASHION TALK became an important step in shaping an active fashion community in Odesa — a space for new connections, ideas, and future opportunities. Through initiatives like this, Odessa Fashion Day continues to strengthen its platform for designers and industry professionals, creating an environment for professional growth and creative exchange.
