BAÉ introduces an upcycled AW26 collaboration with adidas Baltic, led by transformation and slow-fashion intent
BAÉ has unveiled its AW26 collection, a new upcycled collaboration with adidas Baltic that reworks sportswear codes through a more sculptural and feminine fashion lens. The collection positions itself at the intersection of athletic heritage and contemporary occasion dressing, using existing adidas Baltic materials as the foundation for a wardrobe shaped by structure, movement, and reinvention.
At the centre of the collaboration is a clear design process: signature sportswear elements — including iconic stripes, performance fabrics, and technical trims — are deconstructed and rebuilt through BAÉ’s own visual language. In practice, that means panels are re-cut and reassembled into sculptural bodices, cinched waists, and elongated silhouettes, while softer draping introduces fluidity into otherwise technical materials.
The collection, titled “Flame of the Forest,” explores intensity and transformation. Rather than simply referencing sportswear, it preserves fragments of original garments while shifting them into a more refined, fashion-forward context. The result is a series of looks that balance sharp tailoring with layered texture and softened movement, presenting upcycling not as a craft gesture alone, but as a fully formed design proposition.
BAÉ also places the collection within its wider slow-fashion philosophy. Founded by Katya and Marina, the brand describes itself as rooted in a shared vision of creating dresses and accessories designed to be cherished and reworn, rather than consumed quickly and discarded. The label emphasises fit, adaptability, and versatility, noting that its dresses come in varied cuts, feature adjustable straps, and can be styled across both day and evening settings.
That practical approach extends to removable accessories and a broader idea of modular dressing, allowing pieces to shift according to the wearer and the occasion. Alongside its sustainability message, BAÉ also highlights local production and a commitment to reducing the environmental impact associated with overproduction and long-distance transport.
With this adidas Baltic collaboration, BAÉ presents AW26 as a statement about reinvention on several levels — of materials, of sportswear heritage, and of how contemporary femininity can be expressed through garments built to endure.
