Fashion Scout marks 20 years with Ones To Watch Edition 01 at London Fashion Week

Fashion Scout will mark its 20th anniversary during London Fashion Week with Ones To Watch: Edition 01, the first of three catwalks in its largest emerging-talent programme to date. The showcase takes place on Saturday 19 September 2026 at 7pm at Protein Studios, 31 New Inn Yard, London EC2A 3EY.

The programme brings together emerging designers from the UK and overseas working across menswear, womenswear, textile innovation, traditional craftsmanship, digital technologies and cultural storytelling. Edition 01 introduces eight designers: Adolf Maldonado, C.PROTOCOL, CHATCHAI C., Christine Elizabeth, Enny, Jinseo, Leila Daniele and MAD DAISY.

For two decades, Ones To Watch has formed a central part of Fashion Scout’s talent-discovery programme. Its wider alumni include Iris van Herpen, David Koma and Phoebe English, while previous Ones To Watch designers include Eudon Choi, Susan Fang, Maximilian Raynor and Orange Culture.

“19 years ago, I launched my label on courage alone. With no roadmap, I entered Fashion Scout’s Ones To Watch and landed a catwalk show during London Fashion Week. Winning the Merit Award soon after allowed me to present three consecutive solo seasons. I am forever grateful to Fashion Scout for believing in me, pushing me to evolve and standing by my side from day one,” said Eudon Choi.

Eight designers join Ones To Watch Edition 01

Adolf Maldonado returns to Fashion Scout after making his Ones To Watch debut in February. His practice focuses on traditional craftsmanship, subtle detailing and a contemporary couture approach to menswear. Since his earlier appearance, the designer has also featured in FAULT, while his work has been worn by Ayra Starr.

C.PROTOCOL, founded by London-based designers Jinmin Chen, also known as Dia, and Cenyi Wang, known as Zan, combines digital and physical design methods. Both are MA Fashion graduates of the Royal College of Art. Their work brings together 3D printing, digital modelling, virtual fashion, experimental materials and wearable sculpture while examining the relationship between the body, objects and the unknown.

CHATCHAI C. was founded by Chatchai Chaitrakulthong, whose training includes the University of Westminster, Istituto Marangoni Shanghai and Savile Row. He later worked at Givenchy in Paris before developing his own label. The brand combines British tailoring traditions with material experimentation and a contemporary approach to luxury.

Christine Elizabeth works through woven textiles and develops garments around complex cloth construction, tactile surfaces and a considered use of colour and form. Her inclusion places textile development alongside tailoring, couture and digital fabrication within Edition 01.

Heritage, identity and technology shape the second half of the line-up

Enny brings together Italian heritage and contemporary London life. The label centres on making and craftsmanship, with a focus on carefully constructed clothing and the relationship between tradition and the designer’s current environment.

Jinseo Park, the designer behind JINSEO, is Korean-born, New York-based and a graduate of SCAD. Her womenswear practice explores the connection between clothing, the body and emotion. Korean heritage also remains central to her approach to silhouette, material and detail.

Leila Daniele focuses on femininity and cultural identity through material experimentation and contemporary fashion. The brand is rooted in West African heritage and uses those cultural references as part of its approach to modern luxury.

MAD DAISY, founded by Dr Margarita Fedoseev in 2017, works between fashion, museum culture and contemporary creative technologies. Rather than approaching clothing only through seasonal cycles, the brand treats fashion as a form of cultural dialogue and a way to connect art with everyday life.

The designer profiles on pages two and three of the Fashion Scout release also show the visual range of Edition 01, from sculptural menswear and digitally rendered forms to woven textiles, fluid womenswear and art-led silhouettes.

Fashion Scout enters its anniversary season

Fashion Scout will produce the showcase, with Martyn Roberts overseeing show production and Rebekah Roy responsible for styling. Hair is supported by Sally Beauty and UNITE Hair, led by Narad Kutowaroo, UK Creative Director and Ambassador for UNITE Hair. Make-up is provided by AOFM Makeup Academy and led by Mandy Gakhal. People Pleaser Salads will provide backstage food, while Propress supplies steamers.

By bringing eight distinct practices together in a single London Fashion Week presentation, Ones To Watch: Edition 01 reflects the breadth of Fashion Scout’s anniversary programme. The showcase places established craft alongside digital experimentation, cultural identity and new approaches to the relationship between fashion, art and the body.
