Lviv Fashion Week SS26: Inclusivity, Education, and Purpose Redefine Ukrainian Fashion

Lviv Fashion Week has placed the city back at the heart of Ukraine’s fashion map: four days of runway shows, inclusive initiatives, education, and charity reaffirmed the event’s focus on meaning and values.

The programme opened on 24 October with a presentation by Marta Brown Studio, followed by two days of runway shows at Barvy Event Hall (25–26 October), where designers including VOZIANOV, JULIYA KROS, STARCHAK, VBRANA by Svitlana Mykytyuk, Olesia HRYN, ATTIRE by Halyna Davydiuk, BALOSSA, “Vilna Ya” collective, and ANOMY_garment presented their new collections.

A special highlight was the graduate showcase from students of the Department of Clothing Design at Lviv National Academy of Arts (LNAAM) — featuring works by Maryna Pish, Valerii Hrodzevych, Daria Tarashchuk, Valentyna Hoshtynar, Daria Skydaniuk, and Kateryna Marchenko. Supporting young designers remains one of LFW’s core missions.

This season also stood out for its strong inclusive focus: collections by JULIYA KROS, VOZIANOV, and ANOMY_garment featured adaptive fashion solutions and models with diverse mobility and body types, making the runway more representative and honest to real life.

In collaboration with the “24” Charity Foundation, the event raised funds for Ukraine’s 47th Mechanised Brigade, where LFW’s longtime photographer Ihor Fedoriv serves. The “invitation by donation” format allowed each guest to contribute to supporting defenders while attending shows and lectures.

In partnership with LNAAM, LFW also hosted the contemporary 3D art exhibition “This Is Not That”, exploring the three dimensions — Archaic, Plastic, and Modern — and challenging the limits of sculpture.
Participants included Volodymyr Odrekhivskyi, Serhiy Drobyshevskyi, Liudmyla Davydenko, Hanna Drul, and Ihor Bereza, curated by Kseniya Tsikhurska (art dealer, Friends of LNAAM Foundation).

Partners: Western Ukrainian Mercedes-Benz Automotive House, LEV Development, Radio Lux FM, and Charity Foundation “24”.

Lviv Fashion Week SS26 solidified the maturity of Ukrainian fashion — inclusive runways, youth support, meaningful charity, and applied education. This season proved that fashion in Lviv is not just about aesthetics — it’s a community that is reshaping the rules of the game.
