Sanyukta Shrestha presented “Continuum” at London Fashion Week through an immersive 180 Strand showcase

For Autumn/Winter 2026, multi-award-winning designer Sanyukta Shrestha unveiled “Continuum”, a collection positioned as a manifesto for circular luxury rather than a conventional runway statement. This season, instead of staging a traditional catwalk, the designer presented the story through an immersive screening at 180 Strand, within the official London Fashion Week hub presented by Omoda. The showcase followed the official opening of London Fashion Week by King Charles III on 19 February 2026 at the same venue.

According to the brand, “Continuum” marks a deliberate shift in how luxury value is created and redistributed. Shrestha redirected seasonal investment toward the education of vulnerable children in rural Nepal and a resilience fund for artisan producers, framing the collection as both a fashion proposal and a social commitment. The brand also described the project as a continuation of its long-term focus on ethical production, heritage craftsmanship, and circular design.

Material innovation sits at the centre of the AW26 story. The collection was described as being made with more than 50% reconstructed archival remnants, combined with materials including banana, mango and apple leathers, recycled silk, and organic bamboo hand-loomed by women artisans in Nepal. Visually, the collection is defined by Shrestha’s signature architectural silhouettes, including peplum structures, alongside a palette of Maroon Gold, Forest Green, Black, White, and Red.

The immersive film emphasised the link between finished couture and the hands behind it, showing a model alongside an artisan weaving the fabric used in the collection. In this way, “Continuum” positioned luxury not only as an aesthetic result, but as a living relationship between craft, origin, and responsibility. The wider setting also aligned with the British Fashion Council’s sustainability-led messaging for the season, with the King’s visit highlighting craftsmanship, innovation, and circular fashion at 180 Strand.
