KSENIASCHNAIDER Presents FW26 “Denim Workshop” at London Fashion Week
At London Fashion Week, KSENIASCHNAIDER unveiled its FW26 collection, “Denim Workshop,” positioning it as a conceptual study of denim beyond the fabric. Built on the brand’s core material and design DNA, the collection pushes denim past its expected function through engineered construction, unconventional forms and unexpected translations—turning denim into a platform for experimentation.
Across FW26, denim appears in multiple states: knitted, printed, quilted, reconstructed and displaced. Knitted jeans and jackets replicate traditional denim construction through yarn, maintaining the logic of denim while abandoning denim fabric entirely. Printed outerwear turns denim into image—puffers, skirts and shorts made from insulated technical fabrics are finished with hyper-real denim textures, making illusion part of the design language.
Construction continues as a key focus. The designers break down denim’s iconic gold topstitching and redeploy it as ornament and drawing, tracing garment outlines across menswear and womenswear through embroidered, denim-shaped motifs. The collection also introduces new materials, including BROD-X, a textile developed from recycled denim waste.
Menswear returns with an expanded Multipocket direction, continuing the original KSENIASCHNAIDER Men line by Anton Schnaider. Utility modules spread across jeans, shirts and jackets, transforming garments into modular systems of compartments—framing the wardrobe as a curiosity collection and leaning into function without apology.
Cubic Denim evolves through recycled and patchworked iterations, maintaining a deliberate, architectural silhouette that reflects the brand’s long-running interest in proportion and geometry.
The season also marks the second KSENIASCHNAIDER × Lee Cooper collaboration, extending the conversation between Lee Cooper’s British denim heritage and the brand’s reconstruction-led experimentation. In partnership with Nemiroff, the show introduces a new accessory: a bottle holder based on the Platform Bag, reframing minimalist transport as a playful performative object.
FW26 positions “cool denim and nonsense tricks” as the brand’s new manifesto. From 2026, KSENIASCHNAIDER signals a refined strategic direction while staying anchored to its central obsession: denim as both foundation and experiment.
