POET-LAB returns to London Fashion Week with ‘REMEMBER’ SS27

London-based label POET-LAB returns to London Fashion Week in September 2026 with REMEMBER, its Spring/Summer 2027 collection exploring memory, identity and resistance. The collection takes Albania and the personal history of its muse, Elton Ilirjani, as a starting point for a wider reflection on the places and experiences that shape identity.

Albania shapes the visual language of SS27

Albania runs through the collection both as a personal reference and as a source of visual direction. Industrial landscapes, Brutalist structures, raw concrete, metal and geometric architecture inform the silhouettes and construction.

POET-LAB contrasts these rigid references with fluid and sculptural forms. Oversized volumes sit alongside asymmetric tailoring, while genderless silhouettes challenge more traditional approaches to dressing. Restrained colour and unexpected proportions keep attention on the construction itself.

The tension between structure and movement continues a recurring theme in the brand’s work. Architectural forms meet softer shapes, allowing ideas of strength and vulnerability to exist within the same garment.

For REMEMBER, clothing also becomes a means of carrying personal history forward. Rather than treating memory as nostalgia, the collection presents it as something active: a record of places, experiences and identities that remain part of the wearer.

Elton Ilirjani stands at the centre of this narrative. Born in Albania, Ilirjani connects the collection’s conceptual themes with a specific personal history. Their presence gives the collection a direct link to the country that inspired its visual and emotional framework.

Memory as identity and resistance

The title REMEMBER reflects POET-LAB’s central idea for SS27: that memory forms an essential part of identity. The brand positions remembering as a quiet form of resistance in a world increasingly shaped by conformity.

This concept also explains why the collection looks forward rather than simply recreating the past. POET-LAB uses Albania as a point of departure, then transforms its architectural references and personal associations into new shapes and proportions.

“Memory is the only luxury that cannot be replicated. And the freedom to remember is the freedom to remain yourself,” the brand states in its SS27 presentation.

POET-LAB continues its genderless design approach

Creative Director Giuseppe Iaciofano founded POET-LAB in 2023. The London-based brand works with genderless luxury streetwear, oversized geometry and what it describes as poetic minimalism. Its garments use repurposed deadstock fabrics, while the wider brand identity centres on inclusivity, reinvention and freedom of self-expression.

“Inclusivity-ethical, for me, is one word. Everyone can wear Poet-Lab with no judgement of who can wear what,” said Giuseppe Iaciofano, Creative Director of POET-LAB.

The SS27 project also brings together a wider creative team. Marcus Hartelt is credited as photographer, with Adam Cripps as videographer. Jewellery comes from Rose Joy, bags from MATB Material Bag and eyewear accessories from FA Glasses. Jacy Garland and Backstage Beauty London lead make-up, while Pretty Gorgeous Hair leads the hair team. Gift bag sponsors include BeautyLab London, Cioccolato Puro, Forest Feast, Mii Cosmetics and Reformed.

With REMEMBER, POET-LAB uses its return to London Fashion Week to connect personal history with architectural form. The collection turns memory into a design language built through structure, movement and the continued negotiation between individuality and conformity.
