London Fashion Day (LFD) will return for its eighth season on Sunday 8 November 2026 at Porchester Hall in Bayswater, London. The independent fashion platform has announced PAST. PRESENT. NEXT., a creative concept exploring cultural heritage, contemporary identity and the next generation of design through six runway presentations.

The programme will run from 13:00 to 18:00 and bring together independent fashion brands, emerging clothing designers and international creative talent. Students from the London College of Contemporary Arts (LCCA) will open the event, followed by designers presenting collections across five further runway slots.

Organised by AK Brand Development Studio under the joint leadership of Kostiantyn Lieontiev and Andrii Karakushan, Season 8 continues LFD’s focus on providing professional presentation opportunities for emerging fashion talent.

PAST. PRESENT. NEXT. explores fashion across generations

The eighth season examines how historical references, traditional craftsmanship and contemporary technologies influence fashion’s development.

The concept brings together three connected ideas. PAST represents cultural memory, heritage and the traditions that continue to inform design. PRESENT considers how those influences interact with technology and contemporary creative expression. NEXT focuses on new generations and the ideas they will carry forward.

Rather than asking participating designers to follow one aesthetic, London Fashion Day encourages different interpretations of the relationship between tradition and innovation.

The choice of Porchester Hall reinforces this direction. Opened in 1929, the historic Art Deco venue has hosted cultural gatherings and performances for generations. Its architectural character provides a setting for contemporary collections shaped by different backgrounds and creative perspectives.

For London Fashion Day, the venue also represents another stage in the project’s development since its establishment in 2023.

Twelve fashion voices join the Season 8 runway

London Fashion Day Season 8 will open with a student presentation from the London College of Contemporary Arts (LCCA), continuing the project’s collaboration with fashion education.

The programme will also feature Tiarael Fashion, STUDIO CATA, Heymers Education, Erzindjan’s, Tasha Ivy, NILDET, SHICHO, SULITUDE, Yanou Santangelo, NIKA and LEV3L UP.

Together with the LCCA showcase, the programme comprises twelve fashion presentations distributed across six runway slots.

The international line-up reflects the platform’s focus on independent fashion and creative exchange. Some participants will introduce their work to London’s fashion audience, while others will use the event to develop their existing professional connections.

Guests can explore presentation times through the official London Fashion Day schedule and select their preferred shows on the Guest Registration page.

Emerging talent shapes the official Season 8 campaign

The theme also informs London Fashion Day’s official campaign, which features a design by Gabrielle Nitu, a student at LCCA.

Her creation was worn by @thee_aitch_o, a young Nigerian model beginning her career in London’s fashion industry.

The campaign film was created by Dinara Ostr, whose work with LFD spans several seasons. Mariana Zabramna led photography, while @makeup.byandzelika created the make-up.

Karakushan and Lieontiev produced the shoot, with YourSpace hosting the production.

The decision to feature emerging creatives reflects LFD’s approach to talent development. The platform aims to connect designers and models with professional opportunities before they have established extensive industry experience.

We cannot decide who will become the next important name in fashion. What we can do is make sure that talent has an opportunity to be seen. Sometimes, all a young designer needs is someone willing to open the door

Kostiantyn Lieontiev, Founder of London Fashion Day.

Technology, craftsmanship and the future of fashion

Season 8 also raises questions about the relationship between technological progress and individual creativity.

Digital design tools, artificial intelligence and changing production methods are creating new possibilities for fashion. However, the LFD concept places equal importance on cultural understanding, craftsmanship and the personal experiences behind creative work.

“The future of fashion cannot be built on speed and technology alone. There must still be room for human thought, individuality and soul,” said Kostiantyn Lieontiev, Founder of London Fashion Day.

Through PAST. PRESENT. NEXT., the event will explore how emerging designers approach these themes without requiring them to work within a prescribed creative direction.
