Varoin Marwah made his London debut with ‘Monarch’ AW26

Dubai- and Mumbai-based menswear designer Varoin Marwah made his London debut on 17 September 2026 with Monarch, his Autumn/Winter 2026 collection. Presented by Fashion Week and the City (FWTC), the show took place at St John’s Church, Hyde Park Crescent in London.

The presentation introduced Marwah’s work to a London audience after more than a decade of developing his eponymous menswear label across the Middle East and India.

Hand-worked metal defined Monarch

Monarch centred on what the designer describes as quiet authority. Rather than relying on overt symbols of status, the collection explored presence through tailoring, craftsmanship and controlled embellishment.

The line moved across tailored tuxedos and blazers, fusion eveningwear and futuristic occasion pieces. Cream, maroon, chocolate brown and black formed the core palette.

Its defining element was the embroidery. Marwah worked with metal thread, chain and other hard materials, applying them by hand to individual looks rather than using printed or mass-produced decoration.

The approach reflected the house’s emphasis on craftsmanship and its guiding phrase for the collection: “Made, not manufactured.”

Western tailoring met Indian formalwear

Varoin Marwah founded his eponymous menswear label in Dubai in 2012. The house operates from Jumeirah in Dubai and Bandra West in Mumbai.

Its work spans Western tailoring, including tuxedos, suits, blazers and shackets, alongside Indian formalwear such as sherwanis, kurtas, bandi sets and Indo-Western silhouettes.

That combination of tailoring traditions provided the wider context for Monarch. The AW26 collection moved between formal structure and decorative handwork while maintaining a clear menswear focus.

“Monarch isn’t about wearing a crown. It’s about the kind of man who doesn’t need one to be recognised as one. Every piece was built by hand — the metal, the chain, the thread — because that’s the only way to make something that holds its authority quietly. London hasn’t seen this collection, or this house, before. I’m glad it gets to see it first,” said Varoin Marwah, Founder and Creative Director.

A first London presentation

The AW26 show marked the first time Marwah presented a collection in London.

Fashion Week and the City produced the event. The international platform stages showcases in London, New York and Paris and works with both emerging and established designers.

According to FWTC, it has produced shows for more than 300 designers, worked with over 100 industry partners and generated more than 200 media features across its programmes.

For Marwah, the London presentation represented the next stage in a brand journey centred on Dubai and Mumbai. Monarch introduced that identity through hand-worked surfaces, occasion tailoring and a collection built around the idea that authority can come from restraint rather than excess.
