London Fashion Day (LFD) has brought together emerging designer Gabrielle Nitu, a young Nigerian model and a London-based creative team for its Season 8 campaign. The production introduces PAST. PRESENT. NEXT., the creative concept behind the upcoming fashion event on 8 November 2026 at Porchester Hall in Westminster, London.

The campaign places new fashion talent at the centre of the project, highlighting the importance of creative opportunities for designers and models at the beginning of their careers. It also offers the first visual introduction to LFD’s eighth season, connecting the platform’s next chapter with a new generation of fashion creatives.

Emerging talent takes centre stage

The campaign features a design by Gabrielle Nitu, a student at the London College of Contemporary Arts (LCCA).

Her creation was worn by @thee_aitch_o, a young Nigerian model beginning her career in London’s fashion industry.

By bringing together a student designer and an emerging model, London Fashion Day placed professional creative experience at the heart of the campaign. Both participants became part of a production involving photography, filmmaking, make-up and creative direction.

The decision reflects LFD’s wider commitment to providing opportunities for independent fashion brands, emerging clothing designers and new creative talent.

For Kostiantyn Lieontiev, Founder of London Fashion Day, supporting emerging designers remains a central part of the platform’s purpose.

“We cannot decide who will become the next important name in fashion. What we can do is make sure that talent has an opportunity to be seen. Sometimes, all a young designer needs is someone willing to open the door,”

said Kostiantyn Lieontiev, Founder of London Fashion Day.

The creative team behind the Season 8 campaign

The production brought together several London-based creatives who contributed to the campaign’s visual identity.

Dinara Ostr created the campaign film, continuing her collaboration with London Fashion Day across several seasons. Her work developed the concept through movement, form and visual storytelling.

Photographer Mariana Zabramna led the still photography, capturing the featured design and model through a complementary visual approach.

Meanwhile, @makeup.byandzelika created the make-up for the campaign, completing the presentation of the look.

Andrii Karakushan and Kostiantyn Lieontiev produced the shoot. Both lead London Fashion Day under AK Brand Agency, overseeing the development of the platform and its creative projects.

The production also received support from YourSpace (@this.is.yourspace), which hosted the Season 8 campaign shoot.

Together, the team developed a campaign that brought fashion design, modelling, photography and film into a shared creative process.

PAST. PRESENT. NEXT. introduces a new chapter

The Season 8 campaign introduces PAST. PRESENT. NEXT., a concept exploring the relationship between fashion’s cultural heritage, contemporary creative practice and future generations.

Its three-part structure considers how traditional craftsmanship and individual expression continue to influence fashion as technology changes the way designers create and present their work.

Rather than interpreting the concept through a historical timeline, LFD approaches it through contemporary fashion imagery and the people involved in the production.

The collaboration between Gabrielle Nitu and the emerging model provides a direct connection to the idea of what comes next. Both represent creative talent at an early stage, with opportunities to gain experience and visibility within London’s fashion industry.

The campaign also reflects the value of collaboration across different creative disciplines. Designers, models, filmmakers and photographers each contribute to the final result, bringing their individual perspectives into a single visual project.

London Fashion Day Season 8 heads to Porchester Hall

London Fashion Day Season 8 will take place on 8 November 2026 at Porchester Hall, Westminster, London.

The upcoming edition will continue the platform’s focus on fashion designers, independent labels and emerging creative talent, with PAST. PRESENT. NEXT. providing the central concept for the season.

The official campaign film and additional photography will be shared through London Fashion Day’s digital platforms.

By placing emerging creatives at the centre of its Season 8 campaign, LFD introduces its next event through the people it aims to support, connecting professional fashion production with opportunities for a new generation of designers and models.
