Odessa Fashion Day will present its 33rd season in Odesa, Ukraine, from 6 to 8 November 2026. Titled UNDEFINED, the three-day programme will bring together Ukrainian designer runway shows, fashion education and collection presentations, exploring personal identity, freedom of expression and beauty beyond conventional standards.

The upcoming season will take place across several venues, including Sady Peremohy Luxury Gallery and MarAmax. Its programme combines established and emerging Ukrainian fashion voices with educational talks addressing the practical realities of building and presenting a fashion brand.

Founded in 2010, Odessa Fashion Day enters its 33rd season as Ukraine continues to face Russia’s full-scale invasion. Against this backdrop, UNDEFINED examines how people and creative communities can preserve their individuality when circumstances challenge their sense of identity.

UNDEFINED explores identity beyond expectations

The central idea of Season 33 draws on Odesa’s multicultural history and its longstanding relationship with freedom of expression.

As a port city shaped by different cultures, traditions and communities, Odesa provides a meaningful context for a season questioning fixed definitions of beauty and identity.

UNDEFINED considers the right to express individuality beyond expectations relating to appearance, age, gender or personal experience.

The concept also addresses vulnerability, rejecting the idea that it must stand in opposition to strength. Instead, the organisers position fashion as a creative language through which people can explore their identities without conforming to prescribed ideals.

For Odessa Fashion Day, this approach connects the programme with a wider conversation about Ukrainian culture during wartime. The project continues to support fashion as an expression of creativity, personal experience and cultural identity.

Oleksandr Piven becomes the face of Season 33

Actor and stage-speech teacher Oleksandr Piven fronts the official UNDEFINED campaign.

Having spent years helping others develop confidence in their voices and self-expression, Piven brings a personal perspective to the season’s central theme.

Following injuries sustained in a missile strike, he experienced a difficult period in his relationship with his appearance and body. According to the organisers, participating in the campaign became part of his process of self-acceptance and reconnecting with his sense of identity.

The campaign features a look by Valer.experience, combining androgynous styling, contrasting textures and expressive silhouettes.

Light, shadow and body movement shape the visual narrative, exploring the relationship between vulnerability, confidence and the freedom to determine one’s own identity.

Rather than presenting beauty as an ideal to achieve, the campaign focuses on self-acceptance and the right to exist beyond external expectations.

Odessa Fashion Day Season 33: full programme

The three-day season opens on Friday 6 November with an educational event.

At 16:00, Olena Kostenko will deliver Building a Fashion Brand, a lecture examining brand development, creative identity and the professional challenges of establishing a fashion label.

The session will take place at Secret Place and is accessible by invitation only.

Supporting Ukrainian designers and creative industries

Since its establishment in Odesa in 2010, Odessa Fashion Day has developed a platform connecting independent designers, fashion education, creative professionals and industry partners.

Over sixteen years, the project has continued to provide presentation opportunities for Ukrainian fashion brands while maintaining relationships with media and the international creative community.

Season 33 continues that work during a period when Ukrainian designers face significant practical challenges. The programme creates opportunities to present collections, develop professional skills and maintain connections within the industry.

The season’s venues are Sady Peremohy Luxury Gallery and MarAmax. The Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (KNUTD) serves as Educational Partner.

Image Partners include Make Me Up Studio and School, MARAMAX GROUP, Ultimate Trend Store, ARTpodium Model Agency and TOTALITE Model Agency.

Fashion beyond circumstance

For Odessa Fashion Day, UNDEFINED reflects a commitment to creative expression in a city whose cultural life continues despite the challenges of war.

The 33rd season places individual experience, professional development and contemporary Ukrainian design within the same programme.

Through its campaign, designer presentations and educational events, the project explores an idea that extends beyond the runway: identity need not be limited by external expectations or the circumstances a person has experienced.
