LUEDER Unveils AW26 “Ghosts of My Life” at London Fashion Week NEWGEN

For Autumn/Winter 2026, LUEDER presented “Ghosts of My Life” at London Fashion Week NEWGEN, introducing a collection that confronts fear, anger and nostalgia through the lens of community, mental health and genderless design.

At the centre of the brand’s practice is the idea of “Mental Armour”—garments designed to strengthen the wearer emotionally as well as physically. AW26 continues LUEDER’s mission to destigmatise mental health and argues for a more holistic fashion industry that supports both creatives and the communities around them.

The collection draws inspiration from the emotional atmospheres of Tobias Spichtig’s paintings, the film Powder, and cultural theorist Mark Fisher, particularly his book Ghosts of My Life and its exploration of hauntology and the persistence of the past. These references shape a world that is dark and seductive, where memory, fear and desire collide.

This season also introduces what LUEDER describes as an angrier and sexier iteration of the brand. In a future that feels uncertain, invention becomes a radical act—“not quite anger, not quite mourning,” but a space where collaboration and experimentation build community.

LUEDER’s signature pattern cutting remains key, delivering a bespoke feeling inside ready-to-wear. A notable AW26 development is the brand’s first use of pinstriped suiting, referencing the creative director’s background in bespoke tailoring, but reworked in a deliberately casual, subversive way—using the symbolism of formality rather than traditional tailoring structures. The collection also introduces a lightweight flocked nylon camouflage, developed with support from an Italian mill, adding a technical edge to the show’s emotional and ornamental elements.

Music plays a central role in the atmosphere of the catwalk. LUEDER collaborated with Danny Harle on an original soundtrack, ahead of Harle’s first standalone album release in February. Known for work with Dua Lipa, PinkPantheress and Caroline Polachek, Harle’s expansive sound underscores the collection’s intensity and communal energy.

Casting reinforced LUEDER’s community-driven approach, bringing together models alongside musicians and creatives from London’s music scene, including Lava La Rue, Rose McGowan and Princess Julia.
