Samantha Siu Returned to LFW AW26 with an On-Schedule Dinner at Rosewood London

Jewellery designer Samantha Siu returned to London Fashion Week AW26 by hosting an intimate on-schedule dinner at Rosewood London on Thursday 19 February at 7:30pm. The evening brought together a curated guest list of press, tastemakers, influencers and close friends of the brand to mark the latest evolution of Siu’s narrative-led fine jewellery.

Siu, a New York–based designer, has built her practice around creating a sense of adventure and enchantment through fine jewellery while maintaining a commitment to social and ethical responsibility. Known for her intricate wax-carving technique and symbolic storytelling, she continues to combine craftsmanship with cultural references, producing heirloom-worthy pieces grounded in personal history.

At the dinner, Siu unveiled the Celestial Icicles Necklace, a limited-edition addition to her celebrated A Love Affair collection. Designed to evoke the arctic environment of Iceland, the piece paid tribute to the island’s icecap landscapes and dramatic natural beauty. Cloudy aquamarine stones—Siu’s birthstone—were set in silver frames that recalled glacial ice and Iceland’s shifting, mist-veiled skies.

The necklace’s angular chain incorporated embedded rope detailing, referencing Iceland’s agricultural and maritime heritage, while the clasp drew inspiration from Hallgrímskirkja Church in Reykjavík. Its sculptural form echoed the country’s basalt prism formations, translating architectural and geological motifs into wearable design.

Siu’s path in jewellery began at thirteen, working alongside her family in a high-volume manufacturing business. Formal training at the Fashion Institute of Technology strengthened her technical foundation, but it was the discovery of wax carving that defined her creative identity—an approach that remains central to her work, allowing her to shape forms that feel both organic and architectural.

The wider A Love Affair collection is framed as a tribute to Siu’s first love and the destinations explored together, with each piece capturing a memory, landscape or cultural symbol. Through natural stones, detailed metalwork and contemporary structure, the collection balances romance, craft and a modern edge.
