Medusa Fashion House Showcases Indian Artistry at London Fashion Week 2024
Medusa Fashion House, under the dynamic leadership of founder Sonal Vig, made a triumphant return to London Fashion Week 2024 with a multi-designer runway extravaganza that showcased the richness of Indian artistry on the global stage. The event, held at St Johns Church, 18 Hyde Park Crescent, Tyburnia, London, displayed a classic blend of high-end fashion and rich cultural tapestry under the theme “Fashion Week and the City.”
The unique synergy at London Fashion Week was highlighted by a lineup of talented Indian designers:

In addition to these designers, the event featured an exclusive range of Indian crafts by master artisans supported by the National Backward Classes Finance & Development Corporation (NBCFDC). Curated by award-winning craftsman Mohd Tayyaib, the showcase included traditional crafts such as Kalamkari from Andhra Pradesh, Phulkari from Punjab, Paper Mache from Bihar, Block Printing from Rajasthan, Leather Craft from Delhi, Banjara Craft from Maharashtra, Sarangi and Goda Gadi from Haryana, and Rajwada and Banarasi from Uttar Pradesh, telling a story of India’s diverse cultural heritage.
With Venus Steps as the official shoe sponsor, the runway was graced with elegance and style.
Spanning from September 12 to 17, 2024, the multi-designer runway show presented a blend of contemporary designs and traditional craftsmanship. The Indian contingent showcased their designs on September 13, 2024, at 3 pm GMT in London, as part of the British Fashion Council’s official calendar.
Leading a delegation of six esteemed Indian designers and master artisans, Sonal Vig has been a transformative force in propelling the Indian fashion industry globally.
