Ginny Litscher introduces SS26 “TRIBE,” a collection shaped by identity, community and cultural narrative
Designer and artist Ginny Litscher has unveiled her Spring/Summer 2026 collection, “TRIBE,” presenting a new body of work that brings together womenswear, textiles, and storytelling through a fashion lens rooted in identity and belonging.
The SS26 collection draws on the heritage of tribal communities across the world, from the warriors of the Native American plains to the nomadic peoples of the Mongolian steppes. Rather than treating those references as surface decoration, Litscher frames the collection around broader ideas of freedom, unity, and personal expression, using fashion as a way to explore how clothing can connect the wearer to a sense of place, purpose, and community.
Visually, TRIBE is built through vibrant colours, bold patterns, and tactile detailing. Traditional textile references are echoed through strong surface design, while fringe, leather, and layered textures introduce a more grounded, handcrafted quality. The palette moves through earthy reds, deep browns, and other natural tones, evoking open landscapes and long-travelled paths.
In the brand’s own framing, the collection is intended to help the wearer embody “the feeling of finding your people and wearing your spirit with pride.” That message is central to the collection’s positioning. As Litscher puts it, “‘Tribe’ is about the power of community and showing your identity through the spirit of fashion… Join the tribe. Find your community. Wear your spirit.”
The new season also extends the wider creative language that has defined Litscher’s practice. Known for transforming intricate large-scale paintings into luxury textiles, she continues to work at the intersection of fine art and wearable form, building collections that combine visual boldness with a deeper connection to craft, narrative, and cultural resonance.
A graduate of Central Saint Martins in 2009, Litscher has worked with brands including Zara Home, Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen, and Diane von Furstenberg. Since launching her own print label in 2011, she has expanded her work beyond fashion into murals, wallpapers, and interior concepts, while her designs have attracted clients and admirers across fashion, hospitality, and private collecting.
With TRIBE, Ginny Litscher presents SS26 not only as a fashion collection, but as a statement about belonging — one that invites individuality while grounding it in the strength of shared identity.
