This season, Fashion Scout once again continued its legacy of spotlighting the future of fashion with the latest edition of its acclaimed Ones To Watch showcase.
The second Ones To Watch show of the season took place on Sunday, 21st September at 8:30 PM, presenting a collaborative runway that introduced six rising international labels to the global stage. The event reaffirmed Fashion Scout’s reputation as the launchpad for directional design talent at London Fashion Week.
Now in its 13th year, Ones To Watch has become one of the most anticipated highlights of London Fashion Week. Curated by the Fashion Scout panel, the showcase upheld its tradition of identifying designers who go on to define the next wave of contemporary fashion, with past alumni including Eudon Choi, Phoebe English, Robert Wun, Angel Chen, Ji Won Choi, Susan Fang, 1×1 Studio and Georgia Hardinge.
The Designers
Bergman Designs (Finland) – a Helsinki-based label offering a bold counterpoint to Scandinavian minimalism, embracing a “more is more” philosophy to create artistic, statement pieces.
La Toile Milan (Italy) – presented Eternal Love, a collection exploring love in all its forms, crafted in refined Italian fabrics with elegance and timeless emotion.
Nichoir (United Kingdom) – founded in London, the brand explored perception and the subconscious with silhouettes inspired by the Rorschach test, balancing strength and vulnerability.
Nathan Slate (United Kingdom) – working from Somerset, Slate fused art, craft, and sustainability, presenting rainfall-dyed textiles and ceramic accessories as part of his experimental approach.
Yonzu (United Kingdom/South Korea) – known for sculptural yet fluid garments, the label embraced hybridity and contradiction, inviting wearers to redefine identity through fashion.
Lanna Parell (United Kingdom) – a luxury womenswear brand focused on sustainability and craftsmanship, creating timeless, refined pieces with modern femininity at the core.
The showcase celebrated individuality, innovation, and craftsmanship, while capturing the evolving identity of contemporary fashion. With six diverse voices from across the globe, the Ones To Watch runway once again proved to be a defining moment of London Fashion Week.
