Olivia Black Unveiled SS26 Collection “Serendipity” at London Fashion Week
Within the framework of London Fashion Week, Olivia Black presented her catwalk show at The Dixon, 211 Tooley Street, London SE1 2JX. Guests were welcomed with drinks from 5:00 PM, followed by the catwalk showcase at 5:30 PM and networking until 8:00 PM.
The show unveiled Olivia Black’s seasonless 2026 collection, “Serendipity” — a deeply personal homage to the people, places, and experiences that shaped her journey as a designer. For Olivia, “Serendipity” captured moments of chance, community, and creativity, honouring mentors, collaborators, family, and friends who sustained her vision.
Visually and conceptually, the collection drew inspiration from magpies — their distinctive black-and-white colouring and instinct for collecting treasures. Metallic accents, particularly gold, ran throughout the pieces, symbolising richness, connection, and discovery. These details echoed Olivia’s philosophy of fashion as a gathering of fragments: influences, craft, and shared stories transformed into wearable statements.
The SS26 collection refined Olivia’s signature approach to elevated basics and timeless classics, offering tailored blazers, coats, trousers, dresses, skirts, and shirts designed for longevity. Every piece was crafted with sustainably sourced materials and constructed in the UK by local makers, using natural fibres and carefully selected deadstock fabrics.
Her recurring motif, the safety pin logo, appeared throughout the collection — symbolising community, connection, and the seamstress legacy of Olivia’s Nana, who remains central to the brand’s identity.
