Fashion Scout’s Ones To Watch 01 Spotlighted Global Rising Talents at London Fashion Week SS26
23 September 2025
On Saturday 20th September 2025, Fashion Scout’s Ones To Watch 01 returned to London Fashion Week SS26, unveiling six rising designers from Armenia, Dubai, Libya, London, the USA, and Thailand. Held at 1:30 PM, the showcase celebrated storytelling, cultural identity, and fearless craftsmanship, continuing the legacy of a platform now in its 13th year.
Known for launching names such as Eudon Choi, Phoebe English, Susan Fang, and Angel Chen, Ones To Watch once again introduced bold new voices set to influence the global fashion landscape.
Jaoka Jaokha (Thailand/UK) opened with Temple of the Mind, a deeply personal collection merging Thai heritage, tattoo artistry, and ritual. Using jersey draping, natural latex, and hand-dyed lace imprints, Jaokha created garments that balanced fragility and strength while addressing mental well-being and resilience.
Ruaa Elmansuri (Libya/UK) presented a collection that fused North African heritage with whimsical modernity, crafted from upcycled and deadstock fabrics. Embellished velvets, bold taffetas, and silver details reimagined Amazigh traditions, carrying Libyan history into a contemporary context.
Designz by Minaaz (USA/Dubai) dazzled with couture gowns inspired by metamorphosis. Butterflies, feathers, and floral appliqué adorned opulent silks and tulles, evoking transformation and empowerment with theatrical drama.
Selenee (USA) introduced Reach, a collection exploring the extension of spirit and silhouette. Sculptural tailoring and exaggerated sleeves became skyward gestures of possibility, with the Virelle dress serving as the collection’s defining pivot toward flight and freedom.
KimLin (Armenia), winners of Fashion Scout Armenia, showcased Skylines, inspired by the architectural landmark Zvartnots Airport. Clean tailoring, eco-leather detailing, and pistachio accents merged sustainability with cultural pride in a collection defined by structure and symbolism.
SONAIS (Armenia), also a Fashion Scout Armenia winner, closed the show with SIESTA. Inspired by Spain’s afternoon rest and Armenia’s enduring resilience, oversized jackets, voluminous skirts, and airy organza layers explored the dialogue between serenity and strength, tradition and modernity.
Fashion Scout’s Ones To Watch 01 reaffirmed its position as one of London Fashion Week’s most anticipated showcases. Each designer transformed heritage, memory, and emotion into garments that went beyond aesthetics, offering audiences a cross-cultural dialogue in fashion. With their fearless creativity, these six emerging talents stood as the next wave of global innovators.
