Highlights of the Summer WEEKEND by Odessa Fashion Day
The Summer WEEKEND by Odessa Fashion Day, held on August 11, was one of the brightest fashion events of the year. Attendees had the opportunity to enjoy the showcase of cruise collections from leading Ukrainian designers of clothing, footwear, and accessories. The event gathered fashion enthusiasts at the iconic M1 Club Hotel, where all the shows took place.
Since its launch in 2014, the Odessa Fashion Day project has been dedicated to promoting emerging fashion, supporting a new wave of talented designers. With the backing of FashionTV Ukraine, the event not only highlights the creativity and innovation within the Ukrainian fashion industry but also makes a significant contribution to the country’s economy by supporting talented Ukrainian designers.
A special highlight of the season was the show by the British brand Watababe Swimwear, presented in collaboration with London Fashion Day. The brand recently launched its new line in Ibiza, and its Ukrainian debut generated significant interest from fashion critics and the public alike.
Amidst the challenges facing Ukraine, Summer WEEKEND by Odessa Fashion Day showcased that fashion is not just an art form but also a powerful tool for support, resilience, and unity. The event brought together creative minds and gave them a platform to present their work to a broad audience, underscoring the importance of cultural development even in difficult times.
The program featured brands such as Lady S Atelier, VEO BRAND, LONZA, Watababe Swimwear, Leinle, SOUL SWIM, and SEMENENKO, all of whom presented their collections at one of Odesa’s most prestigious venues, M1 Club Hotel.
