Istituto Marangoni London Opens 2025 BA Graduate Fashion Season with Embassy Preview

Istituto Marangoni London launched its 2025 BA Graduate Fashion season on Thursday with an intimate press preview at the Embassy of Italy. The breakfast event, supported by Italy’s ambassador to the UK, His Excellency Inigo Lambertini, showcased ten graduating designers chosen for creative vision, technical innovation and cultural relevance.
Editors and industry guests viewed signature looks ahead of the designers’ international debut at SYNERGETIC—a joint London-Paris runway show scheduled for 3 July at the Palais de Tokyo. The presentation marks the school’s 90th anniversary and highlights its cross-campus approach to narrative design, craftsmanship and innovation.

The event comes as the British Fashion Council adjusts its menswear strategy, with many London collections now showing in Paris. Against this backdrop, SYNERGETIC aims to create a fresh dialogue between the two cities, merging perspectives and energising the next generation of designers.
Industry integration
Celebrating its 90th year, Istituto Marangoni London continues to connect education and industry through high-profile “In Conversation” events with leaders such as Sir Paul Smith, Sarah Mower MBE, Susie Lau and Rahul Mishra. This summer the school launches a strategic collaboration with British luxury house ERDEM: a fully funded scholarship and 12-week placement led by CEO Philippa Nixon, who also joins the MA Fashion & Luxury Brand Management programme as mentor.
