MAD DAISY brought “Lumière de Guillaumin” to London via Fashion Scout’s Ones To Watch
1 March 2026
Art-to-wear label MAD DAISY, founded by Dr. Margarita Fedoseev, showcased its latest womenswear collection, “Lumière de Guillaumin,” in London following the collection’s New York debut. The presentation formed part of Fashion Scout’s Ones To Watch catwalk during the February fashion week schedule.
For AW26, MAD DAISY framed “Lumière de Guillaumin” as French Art to Wear — a project that reimagines French Impressionism as contemporary dressing. The collection is dedicated to the inner strength and beauty of women, drawing inspiration from the work of Jean-Baptiste Armand Guillaumin, referencing pieces held at the Petit Palais, Musée des Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris.
Rather than positioning the collection as a standard seasonal drop, the brand described it as an ongoing cultural project — translating museum heritage into a wearable wardrobe through advanced digital processes and proprietary techniques. Guillaumin’s signature light, colour vibration and painterly depth were interpreted as textile prints designed to bring Impressionist atmosphere into modern city life.
The silhouettes remain relaxed but intentional, built to honour individuality. Key pieces included airy dresses with brushstroke-like textures, sculpted suits with abstracted motifs, feminine tops and coats with artful tailoring, and ensembles layered with translucent textures and signature prints. Fabrics listed for the collection include silk, linen, cotton and viscose, supporting a refined approach where form and emotion are treated with equal importance.
MAD DAISY positioned the work to exist both on runway stages and within cultural institutions, with a stated mission to strengthen the dialogue between art and fashion and restore emotional connection between museum heritage and wider audiences.
