Angus Tsui to Debut Futuristic and Sustainable Collection “GIGERVol. 2” at London Fashion Week AW25

Renowned Hong Kong designer Angus Tsui is ready to launch his futuristic and sustainable collection, “GIGER Vol. 2,” at London Fashion Week AW25. This collection, showcased as part of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council’s Fashion Hong Kong event in February, marks over a decade of Tsui’s commitment to innovative design and sustainability, paying tribute to the legendary artist H.R. Giger.
Inspired by Giger’s iconic biomechanical style, the “GIGER” collection features futuristic themes blended with sustainable practices. The designs use complex pattern cutting, advanced pleating techniques, and experimental fabrications to create striking exoskeleton-like structures and surreal silhouettes that redefine fashion.
- Innovative Materials: The collection features upcycled knitwear by The Billie Upcycling, sustainable denim in collaboration with The Stella Blue Textile, and high-quality vegan leather fabrics.
- Sustainability at Its Core: Each piece reflects Tsui’s dedication to ethical design by minimizing energy and water use, and incorporating recycled and renewable resources.
- Show-Stopping Pieces: Bold, sculptural garments inspired by H.R. Giger’s Xenomorph creations, perfectly merging science fiction with modern fashion.
“Science fiction, especially the works of H.R. Giger, has always deeply influenced my designs,” Tsui explains. “This collection is a tribute to his legacy and a celebration of endless creativity and sustainable innovation.”
Angus Tsui’s groundbreaking approach has earned him international acclaim. His work has been featured in prestigious exhibitions, such as the Salvatore Ferragamo Museum’s Sustainable Thinking exhibition in Florence and the Fashion Fictions exhibit at the Vancouver Art Gallery. Tsui is also the founder of ANCares, a charity that promotes sustainability through educational workshops and seminars in collaboration with leading global brands.
The presentation of “GIGER Vol. 2” at London Fashion Week not only showcases Tsui’s visionary craftsmanship but also highlights the rising influence of Hong Kong designers on the international fashion stage.
