Fashion Week & The City returned to LFW with Pearl Academy talent at Hyde Park venue
Fashion Week & The City returned to London Fashion Week this February with a multi-designer showcase staged at St John’s Church, Hyde Park, positioned as an early-season celebration of global creativity.
This edition spotlighted three emerging designers from India’s Pearl Academy (listed as Pearl Designers Academy in materials), presenting a new-generation perspective shaped by craftsmanship and cultural storytelling. Together, the designers represented a diverse mix of creative voices focused on bridging traditional references with modern silhouettes, while exploring themes of identity and sustainability.
The showcase aligned with Fashion Week & The City’s stated mission to champion designers entering the UK and European markets, prioritising platform-building through inclusivity and accessibility. By framing the runway as an entry point rather than an endpoint, the programme aimed to support international talent with visibility in a London context.
